Week 6: Goals Are Here

Goals are now a real part of Cash Captain, with progress tracking, dedicated savings accounts, and transfer assignment prompts.

406 users as of Apr 28! This week is all about Goals. You can create savings goals, track progress, connect a goal to a dedicated savings account, and assign transfers into those goals instead of letting savings sit around as mystery money. This is the feature that makes Cash Captain feel less like 'I recorded what happened' and more like 'I know what this money is for.'

Goals

Create savings goals for things like emergency funds, travel, gadgets, or anything else you're working toward — then give every peso a job.

1

Track progress clearly

Each goal has its own target, progress, icon, and detail view so you can see how close you are at a glance.

2

Use a budget or a dedicated account

Keep goals budget-backed, or link one to a real savings account so Cash Captain treats that account like a savings pool.

3

Assign transfers as you save

When money moves into a linked account, Cash Captain can ask how much should go to each goal — no more mystery savings pile.

Fixed

Calendar totals make more sense

Manual money adjustments now show up properly in the calendar totals, so your daily and monthly views should match what you expect.

Fixed

Deleted categories stay deleted

If you removed a category, Cash Captain could still count its old budget money in the background. That's fixed now — deleted categories should stop haunting your budget.
