Week 12: Currencies and Compass

I got excited about marketing Cash Captain globally this week, so I pushed hard on currency support. We now cover the vast majority of ISO currencies. I skipped the weird ones that are not practical in real life. Honest reality: most of my users are still in the Philippines. I might be overengineering. We'll see.

The bigger bet was iOS. I'm building a native Swift app because people have been stuck on web mobile long enough. That's where most of my time went. Nothing to try on your phone yet. That comes next week.

Web got a bit of cleanup: suffix amounts like 200$, solo workspaces dropping the scope picker, and a couple of goal and archived-account fixes.

v0.10.3
New

Expanded currency support

Cash Captain now supports the vast majority of ISO currencies, so global users can track money in their local currency. A few impractical edge cases are still out.

New

Amount suffix parsing

Quick Entry understands amounts like 200$ or 50€ when the symbol comes after the number.

Improved

Solo workspace scope picker

The Mine/Ours scope picker hides when you are the only person in the workspace. It was confusing noise before.

Fixed

Goal target dates

You cannot set a target date in the past when creating or editing a goal.

Fixed

Archived account transactions

You can delete transactions on archived accounts without getting stuck.
