Multiplayer personal finance
Collaboration is native in Cash Captain now. Invite your partner, share one workspace, and keep personal money personal while you run the household together.
Accounts: personal, shared, or hidden
Mark an account Just mine or Ours. Hide a personal one and your partner cannot see it at all.
Budgets: Household and Mine
Plan shared spending and your own budget side by side, without mixing the numbers.
Goals: personal and shared
Household goals and personal goals live in the same app, clearly split.
Recurring: personal and shared
Rent, subscriptions, paychecks. Shared or just yours, same as everything else.
Invite people who already use Cash Captain
Before, you could only invite someone with no account. Now existing Cash Captain users can join and bring their categories, accounts, transactions, recurring items, goals, and personal budget with them.
Better filters on transactions and Insights
Transactions can show all, shared, yours, or your partner's. Insights filters got the same kind of upgrade, including clearer account grouping. More filter work still coming.
Fund goals from more than one account
Partners can each chip in from their own account toward a shared goal. Big goals can pull from checking and savings too.
Each partner chips in
You fund from your account, they fund from theirs, one shared target.
Big goals, multiple pots
Link more than one account when one pot is not enough.
Categories get their own home
A lot of people got stuck hunting for where to create or edit categories. They're out of Settings now, right in the sidebar, where you'd actually look for them. Settings got a tidy-up too (ship, crew, and personal).
Mobile date picker fix
Editing an expense on your phone no longer clips the calendar off-screen.
